The Golden Proclamation was a Proclamation issued in 3899 wherein the last Emperor of the Arameian Empire transferred power to the Prelate of the Church of Luxor. The empire's power had been substantially weakened, especially with much of its remaining bureaucracy destroyed in the Great Winter Fire and had very little power outside of Aram. The proclamation took a great deal of power out of the hands of the ancient nobility of the empire, leading to the Sunrise Rebellion.
